Most people have their own idea about what a church is. We believe it means being part of a welcoming, open and honest congregation living in the image of Jesus. To be part of our church means joining a rich history — we’ve been in downtown Raleigh for 198 years. But it also means having opportunities — such as joining a small group, playing softball, singing in a choir — to worship and build your faith for an ever-changing world. Every day we support each other, as well as those in need across town or across the world. We come together to eat, sing, laugh, cry, and pray. This is what we call church....
